To be considered for a potential water project and assistance from BridgIT Water Foundation your project should meet our project selection criteria.
It is important to note that it does not matter what the water source is,
the main concern is the provision of, storage of and security of the water itself.

Provided it can be demonstrated that a proposed water project will be effective in relieving hardship and allowing development in some form going forward then the BridgIT Water Foundation may consider it.

It is essential to be aware that our main priority is towards areas where hardship as a result of poor or non-existent water infrastructure is evident.

The BridgIT Water Foundation projects must be able to add value to the lives of the recipients in a way that will enable them to have their circumstances improved.

The water project must be able to help in terms of welfare, education or health.

the project is generally looked upon favourably where it contributes to the improved quality of life and helps to enhance the potential of children.

To ensure that the Foundation's activities strive to provide a positive impact on the environment.

Objectives for Consideration

There must be a demonstrable need for the water project to be undertaken.  This can include such thins as:-

There must be a clearly defined scope of what work is to be performed under the terms of the project and what the immediate, medium and long term goals will be.

There must be a clear demonstration that the recipients will be able to manage the water project once it is in place.

There must be a clear demonstration that the recipients will be able to opeate, maintain and fund the ongoing requirements of the project from the day of completion into the future.
