Is the rich world aware of how 4 billion of the 6 billion live? If we were aware, we would want to help out, we'd want to get involved." As said by Bill Gates.
The sheer magnitude of water and sanitation problems in the developing world is onerous and requires dedication and determination to change, but we all can do something to help.
In order to continue to carry out our work in providing water systems, we need the assistance and involvement of passionate like-minded people and organizations with the determination to make a difference. The work of NGO's in developing countries is absolutely vital.
If you feel you can assist or would like to become involved, our key objectives are to:
- Collaborate with like-minded individuals an/or organisations to gather a pool of skills in all aspects of planning, design, engineering, trades, administration, education, labour and all related areas to deliver innovative, simple and easy to operate water systems.
- Partner with appropriate NGO's or commercial organisations that are able to identify & sustain worthy projects in societies or nations that will benefit from the BridgIT Water Foundation's work.
- Become a BridgITeer by:
- Fundraising - Undertaking activities, negotiations, programs and promotions to raise funds to allow the Foundation to continually grow its ability to provide successful delivery of an ever growing number of successful projects
- Promotion - Promoting the profile of the Foundation to raise the level of public awareness of its activities.
