The BridgIT Water Foundation was formed by a group of dedicated professional individuals who wanted to do something to make the world a better place by using their accumulated professional skills that would contribute to making a tangible difference to bridge the gap that separates privileged nations from those not so lucky.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has". ~ Margaret Mead.
The BridgIT Water Foundation provides the complete project from concept, design and engineering, through to construction and installation of working and enduring assets of value at the end user site.
These projects range from something as simple as installing water collection systems such as simple guttering, water plains and tanks through to establishing pumped water supplied, sewerage handling systems and small water treatment plants.
| Our Mission |
Our Vision (The Grail) |
To provide safe, secure and sustainable
water collection, storage and distribution
systems to small and low key education,
health and welfare organizations in
developing societies and developing nations
throughout the world. |
For our efforts to provide a direct or indirect
benefit to building the steps to allow even
one person to have the opportunity to
overcome adversity & hardship to reach a
position of influence that allows them to
provide a positive benefit to the welfare and
advancement of their local community, their
nation or the fellowship of humanity in
general. |
Developing Country Water Projects
The BWF donates complete on ground, turnkey
projects and achieves this by isolating worthy
projects that are related to health or education,
particularly with regard to provision of secure
water supply, water treatment and sanitation.
The BWF will then design, engineer and procure
the necessary materials required to build the
project on site. All such procurement is
undertaken by the BWF directly. |
 |
 |
Developed Country Donor Expertise
The BWF has a number of project managers
available that will oversee and lead the on-ground
construction and installation of equipment. |
Funding & Materials
The BWF delivers high quality, enduring assets to
worthy end users.
It does not provide discretional funding to other
organizations or individuals. |
 |
 |
International Volunteers
A project is completed by using international
volunteers or by engaging suitably skilled local
contractors and labour.
The BWF international volunteers are responsible
to cover their own cost to travel to and from the
project site as well as the cost of accommodation
and living while at site. |
