| | | | Everyone knows that water is the world's most precious commodity - without it, consequences are real and far reaching.
The aim of the BridgIT Water Foundation is simple: provide safe, secure and sustainable water collection, storage and distribution systems to those in need. Typically, water projects of this type are directed at small and low key education, health and welfare organizations in developing nations throught the world.
The BridgIT Water Foundation is a non-denominational, non-government, non-profit Australian incorporated humanitarian organization that provides either complete turnkey water projects on the ground in developing countries or funding.
The work of NGO's is vital in developing countries as many developing countries are faced with limited resources to meet its basic needs. This stems from a myriad of social, economic and political problems that have plagued developing countries for years. The needs include but are not limited to the provision of suitable water and sanitation systems in communities, schools, homes and child care facilities; the provision of accessible education especially to vulnerable groups; poor road conditions; lack of appropriate and marketable skills especially for the youth, high unemployment rates and inadequate health care for citizens.
NGO's are full of individuals providing 'Acts of Kindness' everyday. Join the 'Revolution' in not accepting the world as it is and become involved in 'fixing it'.

“We never know the worth of water until the well is dry”
“Water, like religion and ideology, has the power to move millions of people. Since the very birth of human civilization, people have moved to settle close to it. People move when there is too little of it, people move when there is too much of it. People journey down it. People write, sing and dance about it. People fight over it. And all people, everywhere and every day, need it." Mikhail Gorbachev, President of Green Cross International quoted in Peter Swanson’s Water: the Drop of Life, 2001
